Thanks to all of my readers who joined me last night for my 4th live episode on Tout Suite Social Club. I made 2 simple and delicious vegan pasta sauces – my famous vegan cheez sauce and a refreshing avocado sauce. It all started out just as I had expected! And then as can often happen in live television, I started to run into a couple of problems. Well, one problem. Using a new burner, I could not get my pasta water to boil. I was literally standing there on live television watching the pot boil. I have to admit it was pretty funny. Now, for those of you who had to watch the show it may not have been quite as titillating. For that reason, I thank you again for watching.
After I made both sauces, the pasta still was not quite finished! So Didier Loustau, Founder of Tout Suite Social Club, stepped in and asked me some really amazing questions. We spent the next 15 minutes or so discussing what it is like to be vegan; the challenges of cooking vegan, the affordability of a plant-based, organic lifestyle; and much more. I have to thank my live studio audience also for joining in and fielding some great questions and comments. And a big thanks goes out to Susan Quinn, CEO & Co-Founder of Tout Suite Social Club. She took my episode, did a little magic editing and created a really beautiful episode! This morning I went from thinking it was a disaster that could not be released to being really proud of it and excited to show it to everyone!
