My Mom, Kit, came to Napa from Traverse City, Michigan to visit last week and meet her newest Grandpuppy, Violet. We had an amazing time visiting with family and catching up on all the little things that only family finds interesting. Because of her visit, I took a little mini-break from posting to my blog. However, because of her visit, I now have lots of wonderful material to share with you. She had a great time helping me eat and drink my way through Napa Valley – vegan style!
During her visit thanks to Tout Suite Social Club, I had an opportunity to be featured on live streaming television.
My husband and several of my friends also came along to offer their support. I was a bit nervous at first (which is pretty obvious!) but had a great time talking about good vegan food and wine!
I prepared my new favorite food – Butler Foods BBQ Soy Curls and paired the meal up with 60 North a delicious vegan Merlot from local Napa winery Mason Cellars.
And last but not least, I want to thank Susan Quinn, Founder & CEO of Tout Suite Social Club for inviting me to host an episode about my passion – being vegan – and the growing population of vegans that want to dine out with friends and enjoy wonderful food and wine!
