Join me at the VegFest in Santa Rosa!

Many exciting events happening this weekend near Napa Valley. Come out and join me on Saturday in Santa Rosa for the VegFest. Indulge in delicious vegan food, enjoy national speakers, participate in healthy cooking demonstrations and did I mention the food?! I hope to see you there.

Welcome to the Sonoma County VegFest, Sonoma County’s first full-featured, indoor-outdoor celebration of compassionate, healthy and environmentally responsible living. This exciting day-long event will be held in Santa Rosa’s Finley Community Center from 10 am to 5 pm on August 16. It’s only $5 and kids under 13 are free!

The Sonoma County VegFest features nationally recognized speakers, delicious food, refreshing drink, dozens of local and bay area vendors, professional cooking demonstrations, free samples, and coconut ice cream! Be sure to come hungry, some of our food vendors are: Genuto (vegan gelato), Heidi Ho chia seed nacho cheese, Alive and Healing tempeh, Farm to Ferment sauerkraut and kimchi, two amazing vegan chocolatiers, Sjaak’s Chocolate and Obsessive Confection Disorder and much more. Lunch choices will include local favorites Gaia’s Garden, Lydia’s Lovin’ Foods and Gursha Ethiopian Catering. There will also be fresh sandwiches from Freja’s Seitan and many offerings from Sunny Vibrations vegan food truck.

The Sonoma County VegFest is proudly sponsored by Compassionate Living, a Sonoma County non-profit whose mission is to create a compassionate world where people are healthy, the environment is protected and all animals are free from human imposed suffering
